I am not sure. I am going to try to do something with the background. The light from the Dome makes it harder to see at the top. One can scroll down and it is much easier to read.
Well, let us try to avoid direct insults to other fora. I am not sure that it does any good, and we don't want to make visitors from there feel that there is an auto-de-fe waiting for anyone from there. Hopefully there will be more interesting things to talk about other than how bad everyone else is!
This is indeed a strange welcome to this forum. Another poster implies that I mock and blaspheme Our Lord, or, at least, approve of others doing so. I can assure everyone that this indeed is slander.
Catherine, Blasphemy is against the rules of Fish Eaters. I cannot recall any occasion on which it was permitted, but I suppose it is possible that there are rare incidents of it getting past the moderators' notice. If you reported a post which you believed to be blasphemous without its removal, either the moderator did not see your report or disagreed with your assessment.
This is a thread in which people mention other forums on which they have posted. Imagine what would happen if everyone expressed their negative opinions of each forum as it was mentioned. What an ugly start that would be to this new forum i n its earliest days.

This reminds of a saying that a teacher friend told me about: "Teachers should never smile until Thanksgiving. " It means that the teacher needs to spend the first while establishing authority and then can relax more.
